The Saudi insurance sector provides more than1000 jobs

Mr. Raeed Al-Tamimi, Tawuniya CEO and Chairman of the General Committee for insurance companies, said that that the Career Day organized by the Executive Committee of Insurance Companies in collaboration with the Institute of Finance in the period 24 - 25 Shaaban 1437 H, corresponding to May 31 to June 1, 2016 at Movenpick Hotel in Riyadh, will be accompanied by the establishment of workshops to introduce the insurance sector and some general and technical functional disciplines. These workshops represent an opportunity for job seekers to learn more about skills required in this field, noting that about 40 companies and establishment working in the Saudi insurance sector confirmed their participation in this event and display more than 1,000 jobs to job seekers.

He added that the insurance sector is keen to support the employment of young nationals of both sexes, and works on providing career opportunities in the insurance sector to ambitious Saudi youth job seekers, and enroll in the incentive program through collaboration with the Human Resources Development Fund "HADAF" to increase the percentage of Nationalization in the sector.

Al-Tamimi stressed that insurance companies are seeking to raise the percentage of sector nationalization in the coming years which currently stands at 60%, to conform to the proportion of Nationalization in the rest of sectors overseen by "SAMA", pointing out that one of insurance regulation objectives is the development of the insurance sector in KSA including training and Nationalization.

He called young job seekers of both sexes to participate in Career fair, and take advantage of career opportunities, especially as the insurance sector in Saudi Arabia is considered one of the most vital sectors, where the annual growth rate reaches about 20%. He expected the 2030 vision to increase the percentage of growth in the insurance sector in the Kingdom for the coming years.
